Wolf Pack Mount Historic Comeback, Advance To Sweet 16
The University of Nevada completed a historic comeback Sunday afternoon (the second in two tournament games) to advance to the Sweet 16.

NASHVILLE, TN - Two games, two improbably comebacks. The Nevada men's basketball team followed their opening round comeback win on Friday with the second largest comeback in NCAA tournament history on Monday. The Wolf Pack erased a 22-point second half deficit to beat the Cincinnati Bearcast 75-73 and advance to the Sweet 16.
No matter what happens from this point on, the team has already made history.
"That locker room right now, I've never seen anything like it in my life," said Nevada head coach Eric Musselman. "It's the happiest I've ever seen, it's the happiest I've ever been in my life. I couldn't me more proud of a team. Every single player in there, this feeling is never going away for the rest of our lives."

Musselman said after the game that halftime adjustments to be more aggressive on both offense and defense was the difference in the comeback.
"Eventualy our pace of play, won out and we got that thing above 40 points in the second half," Musselman said. " I thought that was really important."

"We changed our whole defensive concept at halftime and went to a trapping defense," he said.
Sophomore Josh Hall. who had 14 points in the win, said after the game that the Wolf Pack are excited about advancing, but need to start games better if they want to advance.
"We can't keep getting down like this everytime. But everyone is excited...we're trying to continue to prove people wrong every game," Hall said.
The scene in the locker room after the game was elation for the men's hoops team. That included coach Eric Musselman - but not his shirt, which didn't stay on long after the win.
"Coach works out every morning so his shirt comes off a lot," said junior Caleb Martin. "I know he's definintely going to use this as an excuse to take it off, show a little bit of his muscle."
The next opportunity for Musselman to rip his shirt off in celebration will come if the University of Nevada can beat Loyola-Chicago Thursday afternoon. Tipoff is at 4:07 p.m.
