Police say 32-year old Virginia Couch was arrested for battery of a police officer, and obstructing and resisting a police officer. According to Reno Police, Couch attempted to flee the scene of the crash after she allegedly ran into two cars and struck three people near S, McCarran Blvd. and Mira Loma Dr. According to RPD, Couch created a "physical disturbance" at the scene.

According to an RPD release, a Jeep Cherokee was pulled to the side of the road, along with another vehicle. Three occupants of the two vehicles were trying to get the Jeep running again, when Couch's car allegedly ran into both vehicles and struck all three people.
