CONCORD, NH — Several experts will voice their opinions on legalizing marijuana at a committee hearing in New Hampshire. The panel is studying the legalization, regulation and taxation of marijuana and is holding its third meeting on Monday.
Representatives of the state banking and agriculture departments are expected to speak, along with the New England political director for the Marijuana Policy Project.
Matt Simon said he's encouraged that the group is interested in learning more about the issue, but he's concerned that the study commission is largely comprised of legalization opponents.
