3 Days of Holiday Festivities Start Tonight in Amherst

Festival includes holiday fairs, visits with Santa, concerts, tree lighting and more.

This Friday through Sunday is the annual town tree lighting festival, a weekend-long event jam packed with events including craft fairs, breakfasts with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a spaghetti supper with the Lions Club, Santa on a fire truck and so much more. All events are free, unless a cost is noted in the schedule below.

During the weekend-long festival, stroll the village to take in the homes decorated for Christmas. And don't forget to stop by the Amherst Town Library to support Project Warmth. The Lions Club will be collected new hats, mittens, scarves, socks, coats, snow pants, and blankets for the needy.
