5 Things: Spanish-Speaking, Cemetery Fields and Squeaky Doors

4. Hola! Did you know the Amherst Recreation Department offers Spanish classes to students Grades K- Grade 4? There are classes for beginners as well as students that have a little knowledge of the language. They also offer a Homeschool Spanish class for beginner and intermediate levels. Classes are instructed by Senora Rowley. Senora Rowley is a Spanish-speaking native and veteran educator. She has taught Spanish to children from preschool to high school in the classroom, as a tutor and for the Amherst Recreation Department for many years. 5. Shortened Summer Hours. Don't forget! During the summer, the library closes at 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays and is closed all day on Sundays. Regular hours will resume after Labor Day weekend.
