2-Alarm House Fire Reported In Amherst

AMHERST, NH — Fire crews from Amherst and surrounding towns responded to a report of a fire on Holly Hill Rd shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday. When crews arrived they had smoke showing from the basement of a 1.5 story house with an attached garage. A second alarm was requested which brought mutual aid from several towns to the scene and for station coverage.

Fire crews are working on what is described as a basement fire.
