Amherst Fire Log: Illegal Burn, Crash With Injuries

AMHERST, NH — Between Aug. 5 and Aug. 12, first responders with Amherst Fire rescue responded to 16 medical calls. The highlights of some of those calls — including a crash with injuries on Route 101 — are below.
Aug. 5
7:10 a.m. — Amherst Fire Rescue responded to a report of a tree that had fallen on a power line on Brook Road.

7:45 a.m. — Another tree fallen on a wire was reported on Stockwell Road.

1:52 a.m. — A fire alarm was activated on Columbia Drive
6 p.m. — A carbon monoxide detector was activated on New South Drive.
Aug. 7
6:07 p.m. — First responders were sent to the scene of an accident with injuries on Route 101.
Aug. 8
10:35 a.m. — A fire alarm was activated on Columbia Drive.
8:20 p.m. — Firefighters were sent to Route 101 near the Bedford Town Line to investiate a report of smoke in the area.
Aug. 11
9:01 p.m. — Firefighters went to Ponemah Road for an illegal burn.
