Amherst Lawyers To Merge Firms Next Year
Peter Moustakis and Dwight Sowerby are joining forces to create a combined estate, family firm, practicing in both Amherst and Dedham.

AMHERST, NH — Two attorneys will be officially merging their law practices next year in an effort to expand services in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. On Jan. 1, 2020, Peter Moustakis of Moustakis Law LLC and Dwight Sowerby of Sowerby Law Office PLLC will form Sowerby & Moustakis Law PLLC. The firm will primarily focus on estate planning, elder and family law, as well as small business and probate, and will have offices on Route 101 in Amherst, New Hampshire, and Eastbrook Road in Dedham, Massachusetts.
Sowerby has been practicing law in Amherst and Milford for a number of years. He comes from a background in business and health care. Moustakis lives in Amherst, and serves on the town's Ways and Means Committee. He has been the chairman of the committee during the last two years.
Both Moustakis and Sowerby are licensed to practice in both states.

"It makes sense for us, and for our clients, to join forces," Moustakis said. :Although Dwight and I have complementary practices, Sowerby & Moustakis Law will offer clients an expanded offering of services to help them navigate their personal and professional lives."
