AMHERST, NH — Amherst police made two arrests and responded to the following accidents from Oct. 12 to Oct. 24.

On Oct. 24, at about 1:10 a.m., Amherst police charged Cassandra Jarest, 27, of Milford with theft. She was released on personal recognizance with arraignment set for Nov. 19 at Milford District Court.

On Oct. 24, at about 11:30 p.m. Amherst police charged Mark Cole, 52, of Manchester, with driving while intoxicated. He was released on personal recognizance with arraignment set for Milford District Court.

On Oct. 12, at about 8:30 p.m., Amherst police responded to a single-vehicle accident involving a car and a deer on Route 101A. No injuries were reported.

On Oct. 18, at about 1 p.m., Amherst police responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported.

On Oct. 20, at about 2 p.m., Amherst police responded to a two-car accident in the Taco Bell parking lot. No injuries were reported.

On Oct. 23, Amherst police responded to a single-car accident on Chestnut Hill Road. Minor injuries were reported.
