Amherst Police Repond to Pair Of Deer Strikes: Log
One car struck a deer late night on Route 101 and the second deer strike was part of a two-car accident four nights later on Route 101A.

AMHERST, NH — Amherst Police responded to the following accidents Oct. 12 through 19. The accidents included two deer strikes four days apart.
On Oct. 12, Amherst Police responded to a single-vehicle accident involving a car and a deer at about 11 p.m. No injuries were reported.
On Oct. 12, Amherst Police responded to a single-vehicle accident on Old Milford Road at about 11:30 p.m. No injuries were reported.

On Oct. 13, Amherst Police responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A about noon. No injuries were reported.
On Oct. 13, Amherst Police invested a hit-and-run on Boston Post Road where two mailboxes were damaged.

On Oct. 15, Amherst Police investigated a single-car accident on Route 101A about 9 a.m. No injuries were reported.
On Oct. 16, Amherst Police responded to a two-car accident on Route 101 about 6:30 a.m. No injuries were reported.
On Oct. 16, Amherst Police responded to a two-car accident involving a deer at about 8 p.m. No injuries were reported.
On Oct. 18, Amherst Police responded to a two-car accident in the parking lot of Monro Muffler about 9 a.m. No injuries were reported.
