Annual Ski and Skate Sale Kicks Off Tonight

Ski and Skate Sale. The Souhegan High School boys hockey team will host its annual Ski and Skate Sale from 6:30-9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, and from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 19, in the cafeteria at Souhegan High School. Drop off consignment items from 5:30-6:30 p.m., Oct. 18, and 7:30-8:30 a.m., Oct. 19. New and used items will be available for purchase. Pick up new-to-you items like skis, snowboards, boots, poles, ice skates, roller blades, hockey equipment and winter apparel. Hair Cut-a-Thon. Sponsored by Race to Renu 5k Run Walk, this one day only event is a great opportunity to get a stylish cut at a super low price. All proceeds are going to Easter Seals NH! $10 haircuts for 13 and younger and $15 for 14 
and older. Cuts are done on a first-come, first-served basis! Enjoy music, snacks, drinks and fun! Renu Spa and Body Salon will hold this cut-a-thon on Monday, Oct. 21 from 3-7 p.m.

Fun run for kids. This exciting challenge involves hiking/running one of two courses that contain barriers, water crossings, steep terrain, and a wide variety of surfaces.  The objective is to complete the course.  For ages 6-18.  Presented by Amherst Recreation and Amherst Track and Field.  Hosted  by Freestyle Farm, LLC.  Read more about this great event, scheduled for 10 a.m., Oct. 20 in Amherst.

Info social. Merrimack Friends and Families is hosting an information social at D.W. Diner, 416 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m.  Stop by, have breakfast and learn more about the group.  Merrimack Friends and Families is a social and service group offering women and their family’s opportunities to have fun and to participate in community service activities.
