Candlelight Vigil for Joshua Savyon is Tonight

2. Taken too soon. A candlelight vigil for Joshua Savyon and his family will take place Friday at 7 p.m. on the Village Green in Amherst. Savyon was killed by his father during a visitation in Manchester on Sunday. The young boy, who was known for his upbeat attitude, will be missed in the community.

3. Beach news. The Amherst Recreation Programs & Life Guards at Baboosic Lake will end for the season on Saturday, Aug 17. That means summer is almost behind us, but that means fall is right around the corner!
