Elderly Man Killed in Hit and Run Accident
Amherst Police are now searching for the driver who struck the 71-year-old man on Merrimack Road.
Amherst Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle they say struck and killed an elderly man on Merrimack Road on Monday afternoon, according to WMUR.
The television news station reported that the 71-year-old man was found severely injured in a snowbank around 1 p.m. and was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Now Amherst Police are searching for a vehicle that sustained front-end damage.
