Local Man Arrested for DWI and Drug Charges

Here is a snapshot of activity from the Amherst Police log from Dec. 21 to Dec. 24. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Dec. 21:
  • At 1 p.m., police arrested Yunior Gonzalez Nunez, 22, of 65 Pine Street #1, in Nashua on a charge of theft. Gonzalez Nunez was released on a summons to appear at the 9th Circuit Court – Milford on Jan. 9.
  • At 11:05 p.m., police arrested Jack Edward Worster, 33, of 6 Willow Lane, Amherst on charges of Driving While Under the Influence of Drugs or Liquor, Possession of a Controlled Drug, Transportation of a Controlled Drug and Open Container Law. Worster was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for Jan. 6 at the 9th Circuit Court – Milford.

Sunday, Dec. 22:

  • At 7:50 p.m., police arrested Deborah Michele Demers, 60, of 37 Embankment Road, Amherst on a charge of Driving While Under the Influence of Liquor.  Demers was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for Jan. 6 at the 9th Circuit Court – Milford.

Monday, Dec. 23:

  • At 5 p.m., police arrested Derek Michael Philbrick, 31, of 161 Joliette St. Apt. 6, Manchester on a charge of Shoplifting. Philbrick was released on $1,200 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for Jan. 9 at the 9th Circuit Court – Milford.

Tuesday, Dec. 24:

  • At 4:10 p.m., police arrested Stephen Edward Fallon, 70, of 39 Stearns Road, Amherst on charges of Driving While Under the Influence of Drugs or Liquor and Contempt/Breach of Bail Conditions.  Fallon was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for Jan. 6 at the 9th Circuit Court – Milford.
