For the last year, the Amherst Town Library has been fine free. Now we are officially going fine-free forever, eliminating late fines for overdue materials!

Also, starting June 14, we will begin automatically renewing eligible library materials, providing you peace of mind as well as more time to enjoy your borrowed materials.

Our community is stronger and healthier when people have access to programs, services, and materials they need to pursue their educational, career, family, and life goals. We hope these policy changes will encourage prior users to come back to the library and attract new users to experience our offerings.
