Microtime Computers Moves to New Location

AMHERST, NH — Microtime Computers has moved their head offices to 5 Northern Boulevard Building 14 in Amherst. An IT Management firm, Microtime Computers provides customized managed IT services and specializes in servicing dental offices with its Dental IT brand, according to a press release.

Partner Steve Wolsky started Microtime in 2001 in a carriage house next to his house in Amherst. The business grew quickly and Wolsky brought his first employee on in only two months. In 2005, Wolsky purchased space in Windmere Plaza on Route 101A. Microtime Computers now employs 20 people between their office in Amherst and a satellite location in Dedham, MA. The Dental IT brand was begun in 2012.

“Dental offices require a tremendous amount of technology,” explained Wolsky. “There are only a couple of firms who specialize in the needs of dental offices, but not many. This has become a good niche market for us.”

Microtime has a couple of different niches.

“All our staff is vetted by the FBI,” Wolsky said. “Because we work with a lot of towns and their police departments which have access to the FBI databases, our staff is all background-checked.”

Wolsky is also proud of his 99 percent client retention rate. Managed IT services has changed since Wolsky first began his business in 2001.

“You don’t wait for something to break nowadays,” said Wolsky. “It’s about prevent issues before they start. We are hyper into service, 24/7.”
