School to Parents: Please Don't Share Photos

Choral congrats. Congratulations to Lauren Kaltsas, Olivia Cunis, Sydney Bertrand, and Timmy Saunders, four Souhegan musicians selected for the All New England Choral Festival, according the the SHS website. This is an all-day event on Thursday, Nov. 7, at Plymouth State University.  After a day of rehearsal, the event will culminate in a concert at the Silver Arts Center.

No photos, please. The administration at Clark/Wilkins School is asking parents to refrain from posting photos of children to social media or distributing them through group emails. During last week’s Halloween celebration, the school says many visitors snapped photographs, and were passed around. "This presents a significant concern from the school’s perspective, since many children have forms on file that prohibit photographs of any kind ... All classes in both buildings have students whose families have opted out of any photographing without specific, written permission." The school asks parents to keep this under consideration for future events.
