Small Snowstorm Coming to Amherst: Update

NWS: Hazardous weather outlook warning issued for tonight, Wednesday morning; lights snow expected as well as slippery commutes.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook warning for New Hampshire this afternoon through tomorrow morning. The outlook warning was issued at just before 3 a.m. on Jan. 31, 2017.

Light snow, according to the alert, is expected tonight and into tomorrow morning. Accumulations should average between 2 and 4 inches, according to the NWS.

Expect evening and morning commutes around the Granite State to be a bit slippery.

As much as 6 inches of snow is expected in Massachusetts and parts south of there, if you are traveling in that area during the next 24 hours, according to AccuWeather.com.
