Social Distancing Incident Leads To Alleged Assault At Walmart
A Walmart employee according to police tried to stop a dispute about social distancing and was allegedly assaulted by man who fled.
AMHERST, NH - Amherst Police are looking for a suspect in an alleged assault of a Walmart employee.
According to Amherst Police "While in line, the suspect started an argument with another patron regarding social distancing. As the argument became more volatile, an employee attempted to intervene and the male suspect assaulted and threatened him."
The unknown male exited the store. He is described as a white male in his 60's, wearing sunglasses and a mask. If anyone can assist in his identification please contact Detective David Audet at 603-673-4900.
