Update: Police Searching For Clues in Amherst Shooting
After investigating a shooting on June 4, Amherst Police now say the suspect who shot through a car window knew there were people inside.

AMHERST, N.H. - After investigating a shooting on June 4, Amherst Police now say the suspect who shot through a car window knew there were people inside.
According to Amherst Police, the rear window of a parked car was shot out by a pellet gun or small caliber firearm on Monday.
Witnesses described a silver Volkswagen Jetta, Passat or similar vehicle, which was last seen traveling along Pond Parish Road towards Baboosic Lake Road in Amherst.

On Tuesday, police said the parked car which was hit was occupied by two people and "it is likely that the person who discharged the firearm was aware that it was."
Police said they have yet to establish a motive and the shooting may have been random.
