Where Does Amherst Do Christmas Tree Disposal?
Town residents can take their Christmas trees to the Transfer Station and dispose of them free of charge.

For town residents who are finished celebrating the holidays and still have to get rid of their Christmas trees, the Amherst Transfer Station is ready and waiting to receive them.

The DPW does not provide any curbside Christmas tree pick-up. The Transfer Station is open on the following days and times:
- Tuesday: 12 noon to 8 p.m.
- Thursday: 12 noon to 8 p.m.
- Friday: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m.
