Bedford Police Seek Help Finding Woman Who Abandoned Puppy
Bedford Police said a woman in a gray station wagon/SUV was spotted at the Bedford Animal Rescue League, but let her dog go someplace else.
BEDFORD, NH — Bedford Police are asking for the public's help identifying a woman involved with abandonment of a small dog in town. The woman was seen on surveillance camera at the Animal Rescue League on Oct. 17, but later left the dog at another location.
She was seen driving a gray station wagon or SUV that appears to have some front-end damage. Anyone who can help identify her is asked to contact 603-472-5113.
Bedford Police stress that, while they understand that anytime an animal is mistreated it can stir anger, residents should not confront the woman or post negative comment and language about her on social media. Residents should also refrain from identifying her on social media, and instead contact Bedford Police with tips.
