Bedford Village Inn Plans to Expand Tavern

The Bedford Village Inn is planning to an 800-square-foot expansion to their tavern.

BEDFORD, NH — The Bedford Village Inn is planning to an 800-square-foot expansion to their tavern. According to the Union Leader, the proposal would provide a handicapped accessible bathroom, a more accessible public entrance, and an expanded tavern kitchen.

“There are no new employees proposed as part of this project, and no new seats are proposed,” Christopher Rice, senior project manager with TFMoran, wrote in a letter to planners. The tavern now has 65 seats.

Also proposed are a wheelchair ramp and exterior improvements to the tavern’s facade.

The project will be considered by the planning board at its next meeting on April 23. If approved , the addition would be constructed off the northwest corner of the tavern.
