Bedford's Moll Competes in World Series in Florida

The Souhegan Valley Storm also won a number of awards.

BEDFORD, NH - Derryfield School sophomore and Bedford Emily Moll has found a passion at which she excels.

Emily and her softball team, the Souhegan Valley Storm, spent a week playing in the Babe Ruth World Series in Alachua County, Florida, against the best 14U teams in the country.

The Storm was awarded the Sportsmanship Award, two Gold Gloves, placed fifth and made history with a triple play. While the team as a whole did great, Emily herself, received a player of the game pin and earned a Golden Glove Award of the All-Defensive team based her statistics in the tournament.

The Derryfield School is a coeducational, non-sectarian, college-preparatory day school currently serving 388 students in grades 6-12 from over 40 communities.
