Car Breaks Utility Pole Crashes Into House Narrowly Missing Woman
A woman driving a vehicle took down a utility pole, wires, brush, and then went through a Manchester house narrowly missing an elderly woman
MANCHESTER, NH - A vehicle traveling West on Wellington Rd in Manchester had a series of crashes before ending up inside a house and narrowly missing a woman on her couch.
The female operating the vehicle rode on top of a guardrail and struck a utility pole that broke with live power lines burning. She then traveled through bushes and crashed into the wall of a house with the car ending up inside the house.
An elderly woman was sitting on the couch inside when the car narrowly missed her as it drove through the house.

Manchester Fire and AMR ambulance responded on July 2, 2020, at 10:33 pm and requested additional apparatus to assist once they arrived on scene located at Wellington Road and Currier Drive.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly had serious injuries and a trauma alert was done at the Elliot Hospital. The woman inside the house was also transported by AMR to the hospital for unknown injuries.

Manchester Fire brought the building collapse unit to the scene, to add support to the heavily damaged building. The car remained inside the house for several hours after the accident while crews worked on the utilities, and MPD investigated the crash.
The car is believed to be a dark-colored BMW sedan, but an unknown model.
Manchester Police closed the road and detoured traffic, and the road was expected to be closed for several hours.
