Car Crashes Into Manchester Home, Catches Fire

An alleged drunk driver crashed into a Manchester home in the early morning causing the car to catch on fire.

BEDFORD, NH - An alleged drunk driver crashed into a Manchester home in the early morning, damaging the foundation of the home and scaring its 82-year-old homeowner .

According to Manchester Police, Ryan LeBlanc, 19 of Manchester, NH arrested without incident and medically cleared after he was seen at an area hospital.

Police said LeBlanc lost control of his vehicle around 12:20 a.m. on Friday and struck a Boynton Street home. Upon impact, LeBlanc's 2018 Kia burst into flames.

Police said the 82-year-old homeowner was watching television at the time of the incident, but was not injured.

The vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene. The house also had substantial damage to the foundation and stairs.

LeBlanc was released on $1,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 11, 2018.
