CBY meeting on Thursday, October 22, 2015, is for potential new members, existing members and their parents!

The Coalition for Bedford Youth (CBY) is composed of Bedford youth in grades 8-12 and adult advisors from various aspects of the Bedford community such as teachers, parents, business owners, and community leaders. The mission CBY is to provide a safe and fun environment for teens, encourage mutual respect between self and others, and provide a strong voice for the youth of Bedford through activities, community service and outreach.
Most recently CBY teens attended a weekend long βleadershipβ camp βDriftwoodβ in Northfield, NH. It was a very fun and rewarding weekend for CBY teens who developed leadership skills through various bonding activities that were focused on building community. Experiential learning helped the CBY youth learn about building blocks such as trust, accountability, acceptance etc. for a strong community and they shared ideas on how to strengthen the community by supporting the building blocks and each other.
Coalition for Bedford Youth (CBY) will host a members meeting for all members (old & new) & their parents on Thursday October 22nd from 6:30 to 8pm at the Ross A Lurgio School Media Center. Some important information will be shared with parents.Student membership is open to all Bedford students in grades 8-12, regardless of where they are educated.
