'Color Blast' Run Approaches In Bedford

The Bedford Parent Teacher Group invites residents to a get 'color blasted' as they walk/run during their June fundraising event.

BEDFORD, NH — Bedford High School will soon become one colorful place for community to gather. On June 2, the Parent Teacher Group will host the "Color Blast" run/walk event to benefit the local schools. Participants will be walking, dancing, twirling, skipping, running and strolling through different color stations, where they will be blasted with color. They will start out wearing white, but at the end of the two-mile race, they will get to the finish line looking like colorful works of art.

The Color Blast event takes place at the Bedford High School on Sunday, June 2, starting at 9:30 a.m. Proceeds will go toward supporting students, staff and families by providing enriching activities. After the race, a "Finish Festival" will take place at the side lot of the Bedford High School campus. There will be music, face painting, balloon creations, a spot to take photos and treats available for purchase from Miss Polly's Traveling Treats and the Tracy Girl Food Truck Company. Raffle winners will also be announced.

The cost to register is $30 for adults, and $10 for children ages 10 and younger. On the day of the event, registration is $35 for adults and $10 for children. Online registrations are due by Wednesday, May 29. To volunteer at the event or for more information, visit bedfordptg.org.
