Come with Me - A Veteran’s Tour for professional athlete protestors

For all those heavily tattooed, insanely paid. professional NFL and NBA athlete entertainers who continue to disrespect our country’s ensign during the National Anthem, I give you venues to express your dissatisfaction with America.

Come with me to a VA clinic or hospital. Take a knee before a veteran who cannot kneel because they have no legs and tell him/her about police brutality.

Come with me to a sports game, where even though I’m in a wheelchair I force myself to stand in reverence to our flag. While I’m placing my hand over the heart, take a knee and tell me why your perceived right to protest should overshadow my right to view a game without political innuendo.

Now come with me to McGuire AFB as a woman who is now known as a “Gold Star Mother” receives the flag draped coffin of her son off his final trip from overseas. Take a knee and complain to her about racial inequality.

Finally, come with me to a military funeral. As the officer-in-charge of the funeral detail presents the grieving widow a tri-cornered American flag in honored remembrance of her loved ones’ dedication and service to his country, take a knee and whine to her about social injustice in American society.

I dare you. In fact, I double-dog dare you!

Kudos to the NHL and NASCAR who revere our flag. May God bless them and may God bless the Trump administration for putting America first.
