Daughter Shot, Killed Mother In Goffstown: AG

Jennifer Clow was accused of murdering her 72-year-old mother, Sally A. Miller, in Goffstown. Clow was arrested in Florida.

GOFFSTOWN, NH — A woman was accused of killing her 72-year-old mother in Goffstown on Friday. Jennifer Clow, 49, was charged with second-degree murder. Clow shot Sally A. Miller, according to the N.H. Attorney General's Office.

Clow was arrested Sunday in Naples, Florida, on a fugitive from justice charge, as authorities suspect she fled the state to avoid the charges she is facing in New Hampshire. An arrest warrant was issued for Clow on Saturday, charging her with alternative counts of knowing and reckless second-degree murder for causing the death of her mother, the AG's Office has stated.

Police discovered Miller's body Friday after going to her single-family home to check on her welfare. Authorities determined she died of a single gunshot wound, according to an autopsy.

The AG's office has not released any further information on Clow's charges or the background between Clow and Miller. Clow is currently being held in Florida as she awaits arraignment scheduled for Monday. After arraignment, authorities will pursue her extradition to New Hampshire to face the murder charges.

Charges against Clow are only accusations and do not indicate guilt. The AG's Office emphasized her guilt would have to be proven in court; otherwise, she is presumed to be innocent.
