Deadly Motorcycle Crash Shuts Down I-93 in New Hampshire

A stretch of I-93 in New Hampshire was briefly closed after a deadly motor cycle accident on Thursday.

BEDFORD, NH - A stretch of Interstate 93 in New Hampshire was briefly closed after a deadly motor cycle accident. According to police, the driver traveling was traveling in excess of 120 miles per hour when he hit a light pole and flipped his bike.

According to New Hampshire State Police, an officer traveling south on Route 93 saw the motorcyclist traveling at a high speed weaving in and out of traffic. The trooper who reported the speeding vehicle said it was traveling in excess of 120 mph.

Fire and EMS crews were called to scene to perform CPR but the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced -deceased at the scene.

New Hampshire State Police are handling the investigation.

Traffic on 93 SB remains backed up but the highway is open. They are awaiting the NH Medical Examiner’s office to arrive on scene.
