Elderly Woman With Granddaughter Robbed in Manchester
An 83-year-old Manchester woman was robbed of her purse while parking her car in Manchester, police said.

BEDFORD, NH - An elderly woman was robbed in Manchester while spending time with her 10-year-old granddaughter.
According to Manchester Police, officers were called to Wilson Street for a report of an unarmed robbery.
When they arrived, they found an 83-year-old woman and her 10-year-old granddaughter who said an unknown male ran up to her in her driveway and forcefully grabbed her purse, which contained cash, credit cards and bank information.

The woman, who had just parked her car, began to struggle with the suspect, but the man overpowered her and took the purse before fleeing on foot toward a bicycle.
Police said the suspect mounted the bicycle but fell off while the young girl ran after him. He then abandoned the bicycle and continued to flee on foot toward Spruce Street from the 400 block of Wilson Street.

The victim described the suspect as an African-American male, who was last seen wearing a gray or black coat, black pants, black shoes with white trim and a black flat brimmed hat.
