Goffstown Fire Captain Remembered As Hero And Mentor To Many
Hundreds come to honor fallen Goffstown Fire Captain Steven Tower at services held at Goffstown High School
GOFFSTOWN, NH - On September 5, 2020 hundreds of people gathered at Goffstown High School to honor fallen GFD Captain Steven Tower, who died earlier in the week.
Family, friends, and hundreds of firefighters from across New England attended the funeral.
Goffstown Fire and Police escorted the hearse to the school from the funeral home. Fire and Police personal lined up, saluting as the casket was escorted onto the football field.

Friends, family and firefighters spoke about Steven's, many remembering his love for the profession, fishing, archery and positive influence on so many people.
In Steven's Obituary it stated "He was the oldest of three sons to Douglas Tower and Linda (Nathanial) Desjardins.Survived by his wife of 31 years, Nancy (Wilkins) Tower, his children; Kerry Tower and wife, Chelsey (Gagnon) Tower, and Garrett Tower, his siblings; Mark Tower and Derek Tower and wife, Jennifer Tower. He is also survived by his five nieces and nephews; Corey, Kierstyn, Adam, Andrew, and Steven."
