Gray's Photography Featured in Lyceum Gallery
Catching Luminance begins on Nov. 28 through January 2017 at the Derryfield School gallery; the artist reception will be held Dec. 1.

MANCHESTER, NH — Photographer, Deborah Gray chases light. She captures it in corners, on walls, bouncing off mirrors, and trailing across the floor. Sometimes, the light even finds her.
This winter, the walls of the Derryfield School Lyceum Gallery are Catching Luminance, presenting photography by Deborah Gray, according to a press release.
In her documentation and exploration of light, Deborah describes her subjects as “Lightforms,” or the “study of shapes that are created by sunlight filtering through windows and projecting onto walls and other surfaces.” In her home studio in Gloucester, MA, Deborah captures the natural light that transform to abstract landscape. Through her images we see the subtlety of time and movement, illuminating spaces - warm and cool - as the sun tracks across the sky.
