Halloween Trick-Or-Treating Is On In Bedford
Bedford police share safety tips and advise there is plenty of time to make your Halloween plans.
BEDFORD, NH — The town of Bedford will be allowing trick-or-treating in town on Oct. 31.
Trick-or-treating is currently planned for 6 to 8 p.m. Participation, Bedford police said on Facebook, is completely optional and revelers are encouraged to participate in a safe manner while following Centers for Disease Control guidelines.
"This should include wearing cloth face masks, traveling with only members of your own household, and social distancing from all others, keeping 6 feet away," they said.

Anyone not wishing to participate should shut off the lights on their homes during this time period — lights off indicate non-participation.
If you normally go to Amherst to trick-or-treat, police there are asking non-residents to stay in their own communities this Halloween.
