Hooksett Police Bust Allenstown Woman for DUI
An Allenstown woman was arrested in Hooksett for driving under the influence after being spotted driving erratically.

HOOKSETT, N.H. - An Allenstown woman was arrested in Hooksett for driving under the influence after being spotted driving erratically on the Londonderry Turnpike.
According to police, Lynda Sears, 50 of Allenstown, NH was arrested for DUI on May 8.
Police said they received a motor vehicle complaint from a motorist who was driving behind a 2016 Jeep Patriot on Londonderry Turnpike around 7:30 p.m. The caller said the driver was driving erratically and requested an officer.

When officers caught up to the car, they observed the vehicle have lane control issues and conducted a motor vehicle stop.
Police said while speaking with Sears an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Sears’ breath and signs of impairment were observed.

Police said Sears admitted to drinking alcohol and an open liquor bottle was observed in the front seat of the vehicle. Sears also refused to take a field sobriety test.
Sears was transported to the Hooksett Police Department, booked and released on $2,000 Personal Recognizance bail with an arraignment date of May 24 at the 6th Circuit Court Hooksett.
