Hurricane Dorian: NH To Feel Storm's Wrath
Hurricane Dorian is expected bring more than an inch of rain to parts of New Hampshire as the Category 1 storm moves past tonight.

The deadly Hurricane Dorian will pass well off the shores of New Hampshire Friday into Saturday. The storm's western reach is expected to hit parts the coast hard but it will spare the region much of the devastation felt in southern parts of the country this week. Dorian was forecast to move past as a Category 1 storm, potentially reaching far enough to dump an inch or more of rain along the coast, particularly in southern New Hampshire.
A high surf advisory was issued as the storm continues to make its way north. The rain will begin Friday evening and persist overnight before tapering off in the morning.
Dorian will whip up tropical storm-level wind gusts on Cape Cod and Nantucket and dump several inches of rain across parts of Massachusetts.
