It’s Girl Scout Cookie Weekend In NH
The Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains kick off their sales effort this weekend including a drive-thru in Manchester on Saturday.

BEDFORD, NH — The Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains are participating in the National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend – this weekend, through Sunday – in an effort to have another successful year of selling cookies. The org noted in a press statement that it uses the earnings – 100 percent of the net-revenue – to fund local Girl Scout council and troop programs and community service projects. During Girl Scout Cookie season, each G.I.R.L. ("Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader") not only sells cookies but also “builds life skills, such as goal setting, people skills, and business ethics” – all 21st century leadership skills, the org noted.
The org kicks off the weekend with a drive-thru cookie booth from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at 135 Hooksett Road across from Livingston Park in Manchester.
“We are excited to offer this drive-through cookie booth to customers in the Manchester and surrounding area this weekend,” said Patricia K. Mellor, CEO. “When our Girl Scouts sell cookies, they are doing so much more. They are developing lifelong skills and taking the lead in their community.”
