Make Your Own Candy Cane This Christmas At Van Otis Chocolates

Manchester candy shoppe will offer candy cane-making demonstrations for all ages on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 to benefit Easterseals NH.

MANCHESTER, NH — New Hampshire residents can get into the holiday spirit through making their own candy canes at Van Otis Chocolates this Christmas season. On Dec. 7 and Dec. 8, Van Otis Chocolates will hold a series of demonstrations where customers can watch Van Otis candy makers handcraft candy canes and give one candy cane their own final touch at the end of the demonstration.

There will be seven demonstrations held each day starting on the hour from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 341 Elm Street. Demonstrations will last about 45 minutes with proceeds to benefit Easterseals NH.

Van Otis Chocolates said this event is suitable for candy lovers of all ages. In addition, a large Santa made of milk chocolate will be raffled off in the store.

The price for each participant is $6. The cost of admission entitles all guests to one candy cane each, as well as admittance to one demonstration. Those who would like to take part in another demonstration, tickets may be purchased downstairs in the retail store, if available.

Customers can purchase tickets via the Van Otis Eventbrite ticketing platform accessible from the Van Otis website or Facebook page. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Van Otis Chocolates will also be accepting additional donations on behalf of Easterseals NH.
