Bedford Man Charged With Lying on Gun Application

Merrimack Police arrested a Bedford man on Monday for allegedly lying on a gun application he filled out in the middle of November.
Todd Twine, 40, of 120 Wallace Road, Bedford, was charged with unsworn falsification on Dec. 2, the result of an investigation in to an application he filled out at Collectable Arms and Ammo on Daniel Webster Highway on Nov. 17.
Police say Twine stated on the form that he hadn't been previously convicted of any domestic violence-related assaults, however, according to court records, he was convicted March 21, 2005, of domestic assault out of the Merrimack District Court.Â
Twine is due back in Merrimack district court on Jan. 7 to answer the charge.Â
