Man Stabbed, Beaten In Manchester, Police Look For Suspect
Man found unconscious on Manchester Street had a fractured skull and other injuries after getting into two fights in one day, police say.
MANCHESTER, NH — Police are looking to identify a suspect after a man was found unconscious and seriously injured on Manchester Street Monday night. The victim, who had a fractured skull and brain bleeding, was transported to the hospital. According to interviews, the man had been involved in two fights in one day, and police have no suspects at this time, Manchester police say.
The man was found laying unconscious on the road around 8:20 p.m. Police say he was laying in front of a homeless shelter at 199 Manchester St. and bleeding from his ear. He had multiple serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital.
Police say that bystanders were not able to give a clear account of what happened or who was responsible. Through other interviews, police learned this was the second fight the victim was involved in on Monday. In the first altercation, the victim was reportedly stabbed near Down The Block convenience store around 1 or 2 p.m., according to police. Police say the victim was found to have lacerations on his hand and shoulder.
