Manchester Drug Bust Nets Nine, Over 15K in Narcotics

Manchester Police announced today that nine people were arrested during a drug operation that also turned up over $15,000 worth of drugs

BEDFORD, NH - Manchester Police announced today that nine people were arrested during a drug operation that also turned up over $15,000 worth of various narcotics including fentanyl, cocaine and Xanax.

According to a release from Manchester Police, members of the Street Crime Unit and Special Investigations Unit rounded up nine individuals and completed a search warrant at 93 Laurel Street.

Police said they were initially looking for a wanted subject who was not home at the time. Just after knocking, police said, Darrius Weekly, 24 of Manchester attempted to escape by climbing out of a second story window while another was arrested inside of the home.

Weekly was charged with resisting arrest/detention and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 6.

Inside the apartment, working on a search warrant, police found 301 Xanax pills (street value $4,500), 339 Oxycodone (street value $10,000), 40.5 grams marijuana (street value $500) 5.3 grams Fentanyl (street value $500), 5.9 grams cocaine (street value $1,200), along with scales used to weigh the drugs, packaging materials and cutting agents.

Police said they also recovered a stolen .45 caliber handgun, which was reported stolen from a Melrose Street home earlier in the year.

Police arrested Felix Melo, 27 of 93 Laurel Street #2 inside of the Laurel Street apartment and charged him with receiving stolen property, relating to the recovered firearm. Melo is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on May 3.

They also arrested Dean Legendre, 61 year-old of Manchester around 11:10 a.m. yesterday in the area of Hall Street and Dix Street during a motor vehicle stop. Prior to the stop, Legendre dropped off his passenger, Arien Nicholson, 38 of Manchester near the Silver Street Towers.

Legendre was in possession of crack cocaine, so he was charged with possession of controlled drug and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail. Legendre is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on May 17.

Nicholson ran from the officers when they made contact with him. He was arrested and charged with resisting arrest/detention and sale of a controlled drug after the officers determined he sold crack cocaine to Legendre prior to exiting Legendre’s vehicle. Nicholson had over $2,000 cash at the time of the arrest and is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North later today.

Police also arrested the several people on oustanding warrants including Dennis Wyman, 47 years-old, Steven Judkins, 38 years-old, Jennifer Dupont, 38 years-old and Jeanne Call, 46 all of Manchester throughout the day on May 2.

Dupont, Wyman and Judkins were wanted for sale of controlled drug while Call was wanted on a capias out of Hillsborough County (non-appearance). They also located and arrested Richard Feliciano, 28 years-old last night. (A full press release was done on Feliciano’s arrest) Feliciano, Dupont and Nicholson will appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North later today.

Judkins was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on June 6.

Wyman was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on May 17.
