Manchester Man Arrested in Connection With Shooting

A Manchester man is in custody after a police investigation into a Central Street shooting on May 17.

MANCHESTER, N.H. - A Manchester man is in custody after a police investigation into a Central Street shooting on May 17.

According to Manchester Police, detectives issued an arrest warrant for Samuel Ramos Torres, 25 of Manchester after investigating a shooting on Central Street earlier in the month.

Police checked his home on May 21 and even though Torres wasn't home at the time, he turned himself in later that night.

Torres was charged with reckless conduct, felon in possession of a dangerous weapon and felonious use of a firearm.

He was scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on May 22.
