Manchester Police Investigating Gunshots on Central Street
Manchester Police are looking for more information after gunshots were fired through a home on Central Street early this morning.

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Police are looking for more information after gunshots were fired into a Central Street home early Thursday morning. Police said bullets went through a first floor window of an apartment where a mother and her 12-year-old son live.
According to Manchester Police, officers responded to the area around 12:30 a.m. after a resident reported hearing the shots. They found bullet holes on the first floor of the three-family home.
Officers spoke with a mother and her 12 year-old child on the first floor of the apartment, who said they woke up to the sound of gunshots and immediately noticed several bullet holes in the apartment.

A red bunk bed could be scene directly behind the right window, which had multiple bullet holes in it.
Fortunately, police said, they were not injured as a result of the reckless act.

After an investigation, police located several spent shell casings outside of the apartment. Detectives were called to the scene and an active investigation is underway to determine who shot into the building.
