Manchester Shooting Has 2 Victims: Police
Police are trying to identify the shooter after a woman and a 17-year-old male were shot in Manchester Tuesday.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police are looking to identify the suspect in the shooting on Ahern Street, where a woman who opened the door was shot Tuesday. A 17-year-old male was also shot in the face in connection with the incident. Both victims have injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, according to the Manchester police.
Police responded to Ahern Street around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, when a 42-year-old woman opened the front door to her apartment to leave work work and was shot. Police say they do not believe the woman was the intended target. Later on, police found a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound to his face, according to police. The teenage victim had been missing in New York. Police say their detectives determined he was also shot during the incident on Ahern Street.
According to police, both victims have non-life-threatening injuries. The woman was taken to Elliot at River's Edge hospital. The teenager was taken into police custody to wait for a family member to pick him up. Police have not stated whether the teen was taken to a hospital. The names of the victims are not being released for privacy.

Police say they are still trying to identify the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to call the Manchester police at 603-668-8711 or the Crimeline at 603-624-4040. A reward is being offered to information that leads to a conviction, according to the Manchester police.
