Manchester Teen Charged With Attempted Murder
Police have arrested a Manchester teen on an attempted murder charge stating he shot a firearm at a man several times.
MANCHESTER, NH — A 16-year-old Manchester teen has been charged with second-degree attempted murder. Police say he fired multiple shots at a 21-year-old man in the area of Chestnut and Prospect streets earlier this month, hitting him several times. The teen turned himself in to police on Tuesday.
According to the Manchester police, the incident occurred June 4. Police say that according to witnesses, the teen continued to shoot at the victim as he was running away. The victim was able to escape.
Police say the suspect is known to both the victim and to the Manchester police.
