NH author, Kathy Brodsky reads to students as part of the Children’s Literacy Foundation program to promote literacy
More than 40 children and parents gathered at the Granite YMCA to hear Brodsky speak

Manchester, NH author Kathy Brodsky read to more than 40 students and their parents on Tuesday, April 25 at Granite YMCA of Downtown Manchester’s Early Learning Center as part of the Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) program to promote literacy for at-risk children. After the meeting, Brodsky, who has written 11 children’s books, all with positive and empowering messages, offered ideas for families to share the joy of reading together. She is one of 59 presenters working with CLiF to give inspiring presentations to children in New Hampshire and Vermont, and regularly participates in events that help kids get excited about stories and reading, and recently released a new book, “High Wire Act,” which was awarded Creative Child Magazine’s Book of the Year Award, and released a Spanish edition of her earlier book, “A Catfish Tale.”
