Police Arrest Six After Melee at Manchester Bar
Manchester Police arrested six men after getting into a fight with the group outside of Glow Bar in the early morning hours of May 11.

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Police arrested six men after getting into a fight with the group outside of Glow Bar in the early morning hours of May 11.
According to Manchester Police, officers responded to 123 Hanover Street for a noise complaint around 1 a.m. When they arrived, officers observed a loud and boisterous group of men outside who were arguing and yelling at the bouncers.
According to police, several officers began removing the six men after the bouncer asked to have them vacate the bar for the evening.

Police said two brothers, later identified as Joshua Heredia and Chasrick Heredia appeared agitated and refused to leave the premises outside of the bar. Another individual, Jeff Taylor began yelling at the officers while Chasrick Heredia and Jose Ortiz De La Cruz began pushing one another and arguing about whether or not they should vacate the premises.
After Officer Michael Roscoe Jr. attempted to place Chasrick Heredia into custody, several of his friends started to pull him away from the arresting officer. Officer Nathanial Harrington stepped in to assist Officer Roscoe and transitioned Chasrick Heredia to the ground.

Officer Canada Stewart was also assisting in the arrest when his brother Joshua Heredia began kicking and punching both Officers Roscoe and Stewart while they were on the ground making an arrest.
According to a report, Officer Roscoe, even while defending himself from repeated attacks, sustained a concussion as a result of being kicked in the head by Joshua Heredia.
Officer Canada Stewart was also assaulted by two men while multiple officers were engaged with the combative patrons on the street. Officer Stewart was struck in the face by Jose Ortiz De La Cruz and Justin Johnston, with enough force which caused a concussion.
Officer Harrington tackled the two men after they turned on him and began punching him. He was able to place Johnson into custody. Ortiz De La Cruz was also taken into custody.
Additional officers were needed to place a total of six individuals into custody to disburse the violent crowd.
Chasrick Heredia, 24 of Kennard Road, Manchester, New Hampshire charged with; second degree assault, riot and two counts resisting arrest/detention. He appeared in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on May 11, 2018.
Joshua Heredia, 25 of Kennard Road, Manchester, New Hampshire was charged with; second degree assault, riot, simple assault and hindering apprehension. He appeared in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on May 11, 2018.
Jeff Taylor, 24 of Ainsworth Avenue, Manchester, New Hampshire was charged with riot for his actions in the melee. He too appeared in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on May 11, 2018.
Jose Ortiz De La Cruz, 25 of Old Nashua Road, Londonderry, New Hampshire was charged with; riot, three counts simple assault and resisting arrest/detention, simple assault. He appeared in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on May 11, 2018.
Justin Johnston, 22 of Knowlton Street, Manchester, New Hampshire was charged with; riot, simple assault and resisting arrest/detention after assaulting Officer N. Harrington and refusing to comply with the arrest. He appeared in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on May 11, 2018.
Stephan Erich, 27 of Douglas Street, Manchester, New Hampshire was arrested and charged with simple assault and riot after he assaulted Officer William Dann during the rumpus. He was taken straight to Hillsborough County House of Corrections due to his uncooperative behavior, so no booking photo has been taken at this time.
