Police Searching for Man Who Robbed Meals on Wheels Driver
Manchester Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Meals on Wheels driver and threatened her with a knife on Tuesday morning.

BEDFORD, NH - Manchester Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Meals on Wheels driver and threatened her with a knife on Tuesday morning.
According to Manchester Police, officers responded to 383 Central Street this morning just after 11 a.m. to a report of a Hispanic male, possibly late 20s to mid-30s who threatened a woman while she sat in her car.
Police said the suspect, who was wearing dark colored clothing, entered the car holding a knife. The victim reported she was able to escape after pushing the unknown man from her vehicle as she repeatedly blew her car horn, scaring him away.

The victim sustained a small, non-life threatening laceration to her finger as she pushed him out of the vehicle and was treated on scene by AMR Ambulance, police said.
Around 12:44 p.m., a Manchester Police officer noticed a suspect matching the description at a parking lot located at Valley Street and Lincoln Street. The suspect saw the officer and fled toward Auburn Street.

Witnesses told police the suspect may have entered a basement on Spruce Street, so a perimeter was set-up while officers searched the two family structure. Police cleared the area around 1:30 p.m.
