HUDSON, N.H. - Area police are searching for a suspect they say intentionally set fire to an empty home in Hudson.
According to WMUR, the fire at 57 Boyd Road was set two weeks ago, and investigators said they knew it was suspicious right away. No one was injured in the fire, and the damage was minimal.
The April 26 fire burned a banister and some items on the front lawn. Firefighters were able to extinguish it quickly, officials said.

No trace of an accelerant was found, but police said the day before, there had been a heavy rain that would have soaked the items and banister. The fire also appears to have started several feet off the ground, which police called suspicious.
"We're hoping that anybody in the area of Boyd Road near the Londonderry line around 5 o'clock on April 26 may have noticed a suspicious car or somebody walking in the area or anything that just didn't seem normal that day," Detective William Kew said.
